Head of Geography (with some HIstory) with 10+ years experience. MUST have Key Stage 3 & 4 (IGCSE) experience - August 2012  

This is a very academic, brand new, purpose built school with good facilities and few discipline issues

They are looking for looking for teachers with an Honours degree in the relevant field, a professional teaching qualification with at least 5 years of teaching experience in an English medium school. Teachers must also have an excellent command, both written and spoken, of the English Language, have effective classroom management including disclipline & administration, be able to te extend outside his/her own subject area to include extra curricular activities and be ablet with mixed ability groups. Preferably someone who is in their 40s and has experience of mentoring other teachers.

Due to recent government restrictions, teachers must be over the age of 27 to teach in Malaysia. This school prefers single teachers without dependents but exceptions can be made if the teacher is the right fit and also if it's a senior teacher such as Head of Department. They have very high standards and are very traditional and any teacher wanting to work at this school needs to share the school ethos. They will consider teachers without UK curriculum experience as long as they are a teacher who wants to teach and experience teaching in Malaysia.
