The school currently has 9 expats on staff from Australia, Canada, South Africa and the UK (29 academic faculty in total). The remainder of staff are Indian nationals. There are 80 students in total but they hope to grow to 120 next academic year. This is the fourth year of operation.
It is expected that applicants possess relevant curriculum experience. All candidates should be able to contribute actively and enthusiastically to a rich co-curricular programme and be committed to continuous improvement. At least one year teaching experience is required for a Subject Teacher position. Applicants must be native English speakers, single or married with non-teacher spouse or a married teacher couple. Teachers in a defacto and "living in relationship" are not accepted. The school is family friendly and can take teachers with up to two children. In terms of gender, boarding hostel staff and PE staff must be gender specific otherwise there are no restrictions. Applicants must be licenced as a teacher in their home country and possess either a BEd or degree plus PGCE. They should also be under 58 years of age. They should also be able to live and work in an international environment that is in a developing geographic region.
This is a co-educational boarding and day school that caters to children in Kindergarten through to Standard 12 (ages 3-18). The school's journey began in September 2008 with their first intake of students. Graduates have gone on to study with universtities worldwide.
