A private English medium school in Abu Dhabi UAE is seeking an energetic and engaging male drama teacher for the next academic year, to work in their boys campus. Interested applicants must have a first degree in drama, a relevant teaching qualification in addition to two years consistent experience which is a minimum requirement for ministerial approval. One should have an excellent command of the English language, be willing to work in a multinational and multicultural environment and prepare and deliver material accordingly. The school is preparing for MYPDP IB authorisation and is currently blending its existing US curriculum with elements of the IB philosophy. Experience of IB is not a pre-requisite but a willingness to embrace the ideals is essential. All teachers are welcome to apply as long as they match the minimum recruitment criteria.
The school is a large KG to Grade 12 facility and enjoys a spacious campus split into KG, primary and high school boys and girls; students are mostly of Arabic origin. The school will eventually evolve into a full class IB World School for PYP, MYP and the IB diploma combining elements of a US core standards curriculum. Facilities are plentiful, including a large sports hall, swimming pool, football field and specialised teaching rooms.
