Position: Female Secondary KS3/KS4 Physics Teacher IGCSE

A Jeddah located english medium national school for Saudi children requires a selection of secondary teachers for now or the new academic year. Depending on age either the British curriculum or a mixture of British and American curricula are delivered. Teachers must offer at least two years of experience, be native speakers of English and be prepared to differentiate delivery in an ESL environment. They should also be mindful of cultural differences and adjust their personal and professional behaviour accordingly. In Saudi Arabia boys and girls are taught separately and so there will be strict gender requirements to comply with local laws. In addition to this the school has been issued employment visas for certain nationalities and so these positions are not open to all nationalities. Please see below.
Salary is tax free and is quoted on a monthly basis as GBP2000-2250. The employment package includes shared furnished accommodation close to the school, annual flights and local medical insurance. These positions will suit single or married teaching couples without children. Teachers must be willing to work in a country that imposes certain social restrictions.

Attractive salary and standard employment package of accommodation, flights and medical insurance. Utility bills are not paid. Accomodation is on a single or shared basis depending upon availability. It is within walking distance from the school located in a good area of shops, malls, gyms, cybercafes and a hotel. The school has a large swimming pool that is available to staff. Contract is for 2 years and flights are offered on an annual basis.
The salary breakdown is thus: GBP2000-2250 per month tax free for classroom and subject teachers / For co-ordinators and heads of department GBP2350-2450 and headteachers GBP2500-2600.
