Teachers
Do you dream of teaching in another country?
teachanywhere.com can make your dreams come
true
Every year thousands of teachers make the choice to work in
private international English-speaking schools around the
world. Many are motivated by the ability to combine their twin
passions of teaching and travelling. Others are motivated by
professional development and the ability to teach another
curriculum, learn a new language or take on a position of
responsibility. Others are motivated to see another culture in
a deeper way than a casual traveller might. Whatever your
reasons, teachanywhere.com should be the first stop to landing
your dream job.
Moving to another country and job is a large undertaking, so
why not find out why every year hundreds of teachers say that
they could not have done it without teachanywhere.com? Best of
all, our personalised services and knowledge based on years of
experience are always free to teachers.
So, what opportunities are open to you?
teachanywhere.com can place you
anywhere
Private international schools exist all over the world -
wherever there are expatriate personnel,
multi-national corporations or where an education delivered in
English is valued, you will find them. Every region, every
country and every school is as different as the children you
teach - no two are exactly alike. Our role is to help you
decide what opportunities are right for you. Whether you wish
to teach primary in Japan, maths in Dubai or become a head
teacher in Africa, our team of experienced international
consultants is able to offer invaluable advice and support up
to and even after you start your new job abroad.
What else would you need to consider?
teachanywhere.com will help you every step of the
way
Teaching abroad is a life-changing experience that will help
you grow both as a teacher and as a person, but it is not for
everyone. When we ask schools around the globe what type of
person is best suited to teach abroad, they always answer the
same thing - confident, flexible, adaptable and with an
outgoing personality!
Moving abroad means relocating yourself and those who rely
on you. Financially, teachers who are supporting more than one
dependent child often find it difficult to make ends meet and
are encouraged to think carefully about their decision.
Teaching salaries often reflect the cost of living in that
country. However, some teachers need to send money home each
month and need to consider their required take home pay, after
all taxes and living expenses are paid. Teachers with pets
might find that school-provided housing is not suitable and
some countries restrict the transport of animals. Some regions
do not recognise unmarried partners and discourage alternative
lifestyles.
Whatever your personal situation, your teachanywhere.com
consultant can help you find out what is the best country,
region and position for you.

Quick Reference Work Authorisation Chart
International schools look for international teachers who
are not only good educators, but also good travellers. In
general, schools look for the following:
- Teacher training from an accredited/recognised
university. Most teacher training programmes from the UK,
USA, Ireland, Canada, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand
fall into this category
- For primary, secondary, elementary, middle school and
high school teachers, experience teaching native English
speakers is usually a requirement
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Complete native-level English fluency is usually
required. Knowing the native language of the area in which
you are placed is helpful but almost never required
