Madrid is wonderful. My school is actually slightly outside of Madrid so I have quick access to the city for weekends but a lower cost of living. There's always something to do on weekends. So far I've been skiing in the mountains a couple of hours away, have joined a dance class for some mid-week exercise, and have met up with some other British expats who are living and working here.
