Do you fancy becoming part of the Teachanywhere team?
Teachanywhere .com is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial business staffed by
recruitment consultants who are mainly ex-teachers with international experience
themselves. We are dedicated, resourceful, business-minded and self-motivated
and always willing to go the extra mile for our schools and teacher candidates.
Our team is truly international, extremely high-performing, but also personable,
funny and fun-loving at the same time. We love our jobs!
Teachanywhere recruiters:
- Have an education or recruitment background and experience in travelling internationally
- Have a valid "right to work" in the country in which they are working
- Are completely, utterly fluent in English – both written and verbal. Whilst having another language is an obvious advantage, our consultants' English must be flawless.
- Are independent, self-motivated and entrepreneurial – Our staff have either worked independently or have started their own businesses before joining our team.
- Work well in teams and alone – our consultants work in a 'virtual team' that spans the world – from Australia to Dubai to South Africa to Scotland and more.
- Have an international outlook and are quick to learn – as a Teachanywhere recruiter you must understand the immigration rules of over 25 different countries, preferences of hundreds of schools and be able to advise teachers on the best matches for their individual circumstances
- Do not have a 9 to 5 mentality. We work quite hard… and laugh quite hard, too
- Are pretty competitive - motivated to be the best and win!
There is no 'typical day' for a Teachanywhere recruiter but on most days you can expect to advise candidates on the phone/email, screen them for work abroad, check references, match teachers with new vacancies, set up interviews, talk to placement teams in the UK, Australia and Dubai and more. You will probably set up and present information sessions for prospective teachers, place advertisements, and even meet with visiting Head Teachers. You must be very comfortable with computers and IT –we have an extensive online database and use Word/Excel daily.
If this sounds exciting rather than scary to you, send your CV and cover letter to Diane Jacoutot (General Manager) – dj@teachanywhere.com
