As part of the highly prestigious Taaleem group of schools, Raha has the enviable accolade of being the first school in Abu Dhabi to receive full IB accreditation and is one of only 3 schools in Abu Dhabi to be awarded an “Outstanding” status by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK). Amazing Facilities

 

Raha International School is positioned on 14 acres of beautifully landscaped property. The campus is unique in that buildings are constructed according to traditional Arabic architecture with wind towers and finishes in colours reflective of the nearby desert and sea. The campus features several large piazzas and wide walkways lined with palm trees, with an array of open space and play areas. The spacious and bright classrooms are equipped with computers, interactive whiteboards and Apple TV. Sport and Drama facilities are also second to none.

In person interview events

Teachanywhere will be hosting exclusive invitation only virtual interview days throughout the year. We welcome applications from adventurous and committed teachers who have either IB curriculum experience or share the IB philosophies of inquiry based teachers. Priority is given to those able to attend the virtual interview days however additional Skype interviews will be available outside of these events for those teachers unable to attend.

    Please note that IB Curriculum experience is preferred but teachers who share the IB philosophy of inquiry based teaching are welcome to apply.

  • Can I apply?

    Teachers should have a minimum of two years post qualification experience as a minimum in the subject and age range they are applying for. Primary teachers MUST have a Bachelors of Education degree to apply and Secondary school teachers should have a Bachelors of Education in their subject, preferably along with a matching PGCE or equivalent in their subject (Ministry stipulations). Preference is given to teachers with previous IB curriculum experience.
