The Haikou Campus is due to open in August 2020 and will provide excellent facilities for students with a capacity of 900 students catered from Early years through to Sixth form. In the first instance the school will cater for early years through to Year 9 and grow with each academic year.

Location Overview: Haikou, known as the 'Coconut City', is the capital of Hainan Province, China's second largest island and is in the southern tip of China where the climate remains tropical. Air quality here is good and facilities are burgeoning. For those wanting a "South East Asian" feel to their China experience - this could be the place!

Role:

To develop a cohesive and proud pastoral House system which consists of students and House tutors. You'll lead the House tutors in evaluating, coordinating and developing the pastoral care and academic monitoring of students within the houses along with subject teachers, other staff etc.

Requirements:

  • Minimum three years experience
  • Must have previous pastoral/boarding experience
  • Previous experience of students with EAL is welcomed
  • You will be required to teach a relevant subject area
  • Teachers should be resilient and flexible
