Deputy Head of Primary

Required: August 2020

Location: Chongqing, China

Curriculum: UK and IB Curriculums

Experience: 4+ years post qualification experience;

Sponsorship: Single teachers, teaching couples (if there is more than one post), married teachers with or without dependents

Salary: Excellent, up to £45,000 per annum based on experience plus benefits including generous leadership stipend.

Contract: 2 years renewable

Chongqing is the largest city in southwest China. Within its borders it encompasses a wealth of water reserves, dense forests, and abundant flora and fauna. The city is famous for its hot Sichuan cuisine and world-famous hotpot dishes. The cost of living in Chongqing is very low; good quality low-cost food is readily available. The cost of transportation is low as is the nightlife. It is possible to get Western goodies and essentials; Subways and Starbucks are plentiful, and new restaurants and authentic Western-style restaurants and cafes are sprouting up all over the city.

Requirements:

You should be a qualified teacher with previous management experience and a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience.

UK or IB curriculum experience is highly desirable.

You should have an inquiry based approach to your teaching and an ability to work well within a variety of cultures. You need to be adaptable and flexible and have a positive approach to life!

Package: Salary up to £45,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience plus leadership stipend; flights, furnished housing, medical cover, annual PD budget and Tuition for up to 2 dependents.
