Position: Deputy Head of School and Upper KS2 Teacher

Start Date: August 2021

Salary: £35,000 GBP (approx, tax free)

Experience: 3 years+

Contract: Two Year Renewable

We are looking to appoint an innovative and well qualified Deputy Head of Upper School and Upper KS2 practitioner to join a reputable and successful British Curriculum school in Salalah, Oman. The school follows the National Curriculum for England together with its assessments and caters for children between the ages of 3 and 16.

The role requires someone who can lead with a clear vision for the development of the School and that he or she will be an excellent upper KS2 classroom practitioner who has the energy and communication to lead and inspire others.

Although the curriculum of choice is that of England and Wales the school serves a multi-national and diverse population of children. Therefore Primary Leaders with experience of teaching students with English as their second language is highly beneficial. This school is a non-profit, non-selective, coeducational, British International school, which cares about their community and each other.

The tax free salary is generous and the remuneration package also includes an end of service gratuity, free fully furnished accommodation, free utilities, return flights, outward and return freight allowance and international medical insurance. Tuition and sponsorship can be extended to up to 2 dependants.
