Originally opening in 1971, this excellent not for profit, multi-campus school has been offering a holistic education to its students for more than 40 years. School Requirements

The school has a large Primary section (1000+ students) and is looking for someone to lead EAL, including 3 members of the EAL department, as well as drive the programme and department forwards.

  • 5+ years of post-qualification experience
  • Concept-based teaching and learning - a desire to engage children in concept-based learning, where they develop big ideas both specific to subject areas and transcending them.
  • Experience teaching students who are English Language Learners
  • Enthusiastic about teaching within a multi-cultural environment
  • A strong sense of adventure and an exceptional level of commitment to teaching and lifelong learning.
  • Flexibility of approach and a collaborative style are essential.
  • Willing to contribute to extra-curricular sessions, pastoral responsibilities, outdoor education experiences relevant to students, including occasionally volunteering for holiday-time expeditions and trips.
