Head of Teaching & Learning (K - 5),Cairo, Egypt - August 2020

Curriculum: US Common Core
Salary: Tax Free including leadership stipend
Experience: 3 years
Sponsorship: Single or Married Teaching Couples
Contract: Two Year Renewable

This private school, established in 1982 follows two streams of curriculum - both US common core and UK curriculum. Requirements:

The Head of T&L is responsible for the provision and continued improvement of effective teaching and learning in Kindergarten-Grade 5. S/He leads, manages, and supports curricular, instructional and assessment aspects of the K-G5 provision under the direction and support of the school Principal. The post holder leads and supports curriculum development, implementation and evaluation, and the professional learning and development of all teaching staff. S/He serves as a member of the Senior School Leadership Team and the PK-12 Academic Leadership Team. The job holder works closely with school leaders to set direction and focus for development, implementation and evaluation of academic programs, instruction and assessment in alignment with the school vision, mission and goals. The post holder has initiative, can work both collaboratively and independently, is a change leader and facilitates positive working relationships with staff, students and parents.
