Lower Primary Teacher (with EAL/Literacy)
Start Date: Aug 2020

Salary: From $32000 - $50000USD per annum (approx. $55000 AUD - $75000 AUD)
Sponsorship: Single or Married with up to 2 dependents (tuition fees provided)
Contract: 2 yearsrenewable

Requirements: This role requires someone with a strength in supporting lower primary children. The school is looking for someone with a proven record in teaching literacy - they do not necessarily need to have an EAL qualification. The school hopes to be introducing the Fountas & Pinnell literacy program so experience of this would be ideal.

  • Applicants must be fully qualified teachers with a Bachelor of Education
  • Bachelors Degree + Post Graduate Teaching qualificationor equivalent.
  • Applicants should have at least 3 years' experience of teaching
  • Experience with the AustralianNew ZealandPYPReggio Emilia or previous teaching experience in an international school is a distinct advantage.
