Finding your dream job abroad is an exciting prospect!

If you have the travel bug, and would like to continue your teaching career in the Far East or Middle East, then Teachanywhere has the perfect role for you.

It is no doubt a difficult task; finding opportunities, securing interviews and re-locating, but that is why we are here to help you through every step of the way! The transition to the classroom and teaching methods of another country could be that change that you were looking for.

Here are a few tips to get you on your way:

Open-mindedness & an appetite to learn about other cultures

Adapting to life abroad is the first and most important factor to consider. Getting to know about the local language, customs and behavioural norms will help you to settle in and make the most of your experience. Quite often, the students will be from a mixed background as well, so a desire to embrace other cultures and fully immerse yourself would be a solid foundation!

Naturally; living in a different country will come with a certain amount of change. A different education system and different working practices will no doubt require some flexibility! Therefore be prepared to alter your approach in order to get the most out of it! While it is not essential to speak the native language, being able to interact and communicate with fellow staff and students is essential in building your reputation at the school.

You will need to have at least a Bachelor’s degree, and the relevant teaching qualifications for the roles that you apply to. Our specialist Consultants will be able to advise the exact requirements for different countries and each position that we are recruiting for. Securing your Visa is paramount as well; and our consultants are at hand to provide you the best support and advice every step of the way.

Does this sound like you? Search and apply for a role today, or contact one of our dedicated recruitment consultants for more information.
