Established in 1995, this school offers an adapted version of an American curriculum from KG to Grade 12, serving a mostly Kuwaiti student body (95%) with an international curriculum and a good mix of international and local teaching staff. The school is divided into four sections: Early Years, Elementary (Grades 1-5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and High School (Grades 9-12). Specialist teachers for non-core subjects are provided for KG and the Elementary Department. The school's mission is to provide high-quality international education while preserving and promoting Kuwaiti values and traditions. Role Overview:
You will be teaching Maths at Middle and High School level (grades 6 to 12).
Primary Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the US curriculum
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student development
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to ensure student success
Additional Duties
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions
- Support extracurricular activities and contribute to the school community
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in subject area plus state teaching licence in subject area (or equivalent)
- 2 years post-qualification teaching experience required
