The group was founded in partnership with a leading independent school in the UK. The group now comprises ten schools in seven cities across Asia.
Established in 2005, the Beijing school is a dynamic, very well-known and highly respected high performing co-educational independent school. The school caters for approximately 1570 expatriate children aged 2-18 from forty five different countries across six continents. The school comprises three schools, each with its own Head teacher: Early Years; Junior School; and Senior School. They offer the English National curriculum in KS3, International GCSEs in KS4 and the International Baccalaureate Diploma in KS5. World-class facilities enhance and enable innovative learning for both students and staff.

The school is located in Shunyi, around forty-five minutes from the heart of Beijing. Requirements

  • A tertiary degree from a well-respected university, with management and leadership qualifications being an added advantage;

  • Successful experience of leading an outstanding School.

  • Command a detailed understanding of all relevant curriculum;

  • Remain up-to-date with current best practice in UK and International education;

  • Have a detailed understanding of Junior School education in an international setting;

  • Understand how to use data to improve learning and teaching;

  • Have experience of supporting students in accessing top school placements around the world;

  • Be able to effectively plan and manage a budget;

  • Possess experience of recruiting and developing staff;

  • Have a proven track record as an effective change manager.

  • Be a highly committed team player with the drive, energy and passion to develop an expanding and forward- looking school and work within a network of schools;

  • Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship building skills;

  • Have a genuine commitment to putting students first;

  • Set high personal and professional expectations;

  • Be able to analyse problems, reach reasoned judgements and resolve issues;

  • Be motivated and passionate about delivering the best in education;

  • Perform effectively with integrity under pressure;
