Role Overview

You will be teaching Physics in the High School section, using the MYP and DP curriculum for students aged approximately 11 to 18.

  • An educator who can create engaging and dynamic lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • A professional with a strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP curriculum and/or UK A-level experience, who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working with colleagues to create engaging learning experiences.
  • A teacher who encourages critical thinking and curiosity in children through well-crafted curricular and co-curricular activities, helping to mold students into confident individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the IB MYP/DP curriculum.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to ensure student success.
  • Contribute to the school community through participation in professional development opportunities and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; a valid teaching qualification / certificate.
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience post-qualification.
  • Strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP curriculum and/or UK A-level is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
