Harrow Little Lions Zhuhai
The Early Years Centre in Zhuhai provides young children with an excellent and enjoyable start to their educational journey through life. Adopting the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum of England and adding strong local linguistic and cultural dimensions, pupils begin to develop creative thinking and collaboration skills through a progressive curriculum that recognises the individuality of each learner. It is at this stage too, within the pleasant atmosphere of the Centres, that the School Group's Values of Courage, Honour, Humility and Fellowship are introduced, helping to shape character from this very early point in their lives.
Living and Working in Zhuhai
Zhuhai is a small city relative to the big players in China but it is a diamond in the rough that borders on Macau and is connected by the world's longest bridge to Hong Kong. Today the city is known for golf resorts, theme parks and islands off the Pearl River Delta. The air quality and the seaside location work to make Zhuhai a highly liveable place. This is a great place to live in a sub-tropical climate, with Macau and Hong Kong on your doorstep.
School Requirements
- Appropriate degree, with UK PGCE, or other teaching qualification giving QTS
- Minimum 2 years' teaching experience
- Working knowledge of the National Curriculum of England, including KS3, IGCSE/GCSE and A Levels as appropriate
- Evidence of relevant and challenging continuing professional development Knowledge and experience
- Be aware and up-to-date in all relevant safeguarding policies and practices
- Knowledge and experience of how to use of ICT effectively in promoting student learning
- Recent and consistent involvement in extracurricular activities
- Previous experience or knowledge of working with students for whom English is not their first language Personal qualities
- Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age and ethnic background
- Passionate about teaching and a strong commitment to holistic education
- The ability to inspire students through a genuine passion for learning and a desire to lead them towards outstanding academic outcomes

Package: The remuneration package is very generous and includes the following;
