BASIS Nanjing
The Nanjing Campus opened in 2019 and serves students in grades Pre-K through 12. It will expand until it reaches a capacity of 1,200. The schools facilities include top-of-the-line classrooms, outdoor sports facilities for activities including track and field, soccer, and basketball, heated indoor swimming pool, auditorium, Apple computer lab, cafeteria, and multipurpose activity centre. The school's campus is located in Nanjing's Xianlin University Town in the Qixia District-home to Qixia Mountain, numerous historical sites, a vibrant arts community, museums, and beautiful scenery along the banks of the Yangtze River.

Requirements
As a college counsellor, you will be responsible for teaching a daily college counselling workshop to 12th graders, completing college counselling reports, and serving as the Senior Research Project (SRP) coordinator. You will also organise college admissions visits each fall, conduct family college counselling evenings, meet one-on-one with 9th and 10th graders during the academic year, and instruct students on completing college admissions applications and financial aid applications and obtaining recommendations.
Additionally, this individual will be responsible for developing new programme ideas, co-leading college information evening sessions, and developing and maintaining college planning, career assessment and readiness software such as Naviance. You will have the opportunity to work closely with both students and parents on selecting the correct college or university based on the student's career trajectory. This position is focused on student success and readiness for college and university study in the United States and other countries.
