Qualifications & Experience

The school is seeking a passionate, experienced Primary School Teacher. You will deliver high quality Cambridge Primary curriculum lessons, support diverse learners (including EAL), and foster a nurturing classroom environment aligned with the school values of creativity, sustainability, and community.

  • Minimum 5 years experience
  • Relevant degree and teaching certifications. Having a Primary Education Degree will be an advantage.
  • Cambridge, MAP, and WIDA experience a plus.
  • Having experience working with SEN students will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices for young learners.
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to providing quality education to young learners.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that meet the needs of young learners, including activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
  • Use a variety of instructional strategies and materials that are engaging and appropriate for young learners.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and supportive learning environment that promotes positive behavior and social-emotional growth.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and other members of school community.
  • Regularly assess and monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to meet individual student needs.
  • Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to plan and implement a cohesive and comprehensive curriculum.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers about student progress and school activities.
  • Attend and participate in school meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related events as required.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, excursions, events, any other activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior.
  • Adhere to all school policies and procedures.
  • Teaching primary school classes in developing student's literacy and numeracy skills and any other subjects according to the school's curriculum.
  • Provide differentiated learning that meets the needs of all children.
  • Caring for and nurturing young learners.
