Early Education: Teachers create a learning environment where learning is a joyful and rewarding experience, and children learn to become enthusiastic, life-long learners. The thematic, hands-on, and content rich curriculum creates a foundation for children to build upon in the elementary grades. Early Education classes are taught by two teachers: the lead teacher and an additional teaching fellow.
Primary: Primary teaching provides passionate educators the opportunity to teach bright, motivated students and explore lessons and concepts which are usually at least one grade level ahead. Curriculum and lessons focus on content mastery and ensuring student understanding through differentiation provided by a unique co-teaching model.
Secondary: Secondary teachers are subject matter experts, often with multiple advanced degrees. The accelerated curriculum provides experienced teachers the opportunity to go deep into their field of expertise.
Guangzhou International School
The Guangzhou school has grown to its capacity of approximately 1,200 students in grades Pre-K - 12. The school offers spacious classrooms, sports facilities for soccer, basketball and track activities, indoor play area, library, Apple computer lab, theater, cafeteria, and boarding facilities for more than 450 students.
The school is set in the Science City suburb outside of Guangzhou with lots of green spaces, lush rolling hills, and numerous paths to walk, jog, or cycle. Guangzhou is a diverse city, it has several modern malls with entertainment, dining, and movie theaters, Chimelong's Safari Park, Paradise Park and Circus will keep your weekends busy. When you desire a change of scenery, a bullet train can take you to Hong Kong in about an hour.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in your subject area. (Elementary and Early Childhood Education degrees are highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5.)
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification

Competitive Salary: from approx. $55-65k USD per annum (360 - 420k RMB), more for leadership roles
