Early Education: Teachers create a learning environment where learning is a joyful and rewarding experience, and children learn to become enthusiastic, life-long learners. The thematic, hands-on, and content rich curriculum creates a foundation for children to build upon in the elementary grades. Early Education classes are taught by two teachers: the lead teacher and an additional teaching fellow.
Primary: Primary teaching provides passionate educators the opportunity to teach bright, motivated students and explore lessons and concepts which are usually at least one grade level ahead. Curriculum and lessons focus on content mastery and ensuring student understanding through differentiation provided by a unique co-teaching model.
Secondary: Secondary teachers are subject matter experts, often with multiple advanced degrees. The accelerated curriculum provides experienced teachers the opportunity to go deep into their field of expertise.
Shenzhen International School
The Shenzhen school has grown to more than 1,000 students in PreK - grade 12 and has numerous waitlists. In 2023, the school opened a brand new, purpose-built campus to support continued growth and development. This new campus includes exceptional teaching facilities, an auditorium, black-box theater, cafeteria, library, double decker gym, science labs, music classrooms, and an observatory.
Located in the expat-friendly suburb of Shekou, there are numerous Western restaurants, grocery stores, IMAX movie theaters, and shopping opportunities close to the school. Shenzhen itself is a wonderful planned city filled with plants and shrubbery on the coast in the warmer southern climbs of China. Additionally, the area has easy access by car or ferry to Hong Kong and other Chinese cities, such as Macao, Zhuhai, and Guangzhou.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in your subject area. (Elementary and Early Childhood Education degrees are highly valued for Pre-K through Grade 5.)
Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years post-qualification

Competitive Salary: from approx. $55-65k USD per annum (360 - 420k RMB), more for leadership roles
