The School

This is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the leading educational establishments in Kuwait, a private, co-educational school catering for more than 4000 international students from Reception to Year 13. The school follows the National Curriculum of England through to GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A Level qualifications and provides a structured, caring and happy environment for learning. The school has over 450 teaching/support staff and provides teachers with a modern and stimulating environment in which to build a career in teaching. The quality of students, teachers and resources, combined with progressive curriculum planning, extensive extracurricular activities and continuing professional development, provide opportunities that very few schools can match.

Part of a family of 56 premium international schools, based in 27 countries around the world, this school group offers personalised, inspiring learning to more than 50,000 students between 2 and 18 years old. The group is widely acknowledged as offering fantastic opportunities to innovate and develop best practice and to access extensive professional development

Living and Working in Kuwait

Teachers here immerse themselves into a vibrant and active school community, in the suburb of Salwa. Kuwait is a welcoming location for overseas workers offering a safe and secure lifestyle and a wide range of expatriate clubs and groups. Being a smaller country with everything happening in and around the main city you will find that the western lifestyle has more of a community feel to it and it is very easy to make friends and join clubs. Packages like this also offer a big saving potential and if you like to travel Kuwait serves as a great stepping stone for other Gulf locations (just 1hr from Dubai) for the weekend and further afield in Asia and Africa for the longer school holidays.
