This International opened its new international campus in Autumn 2022, educating students from Grade 1-12 (UK Years 2-13). This is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built school based on its close relationship with Europe's oldest school and one of the most prestigious schools in England.

The Opportunity:

• Help shape and develop the Design & Technology department.
• Collaborate with other teachers to achieve transdisciplinary learning.
• Utilise state-of-the-art facilities: Spacious departmental space, including computer labs, carpentry, electronics, plastics, and a DJI Robotics lab.
• Contribute to a department focused on developing the next generation of designers, problem solvers, and believers.
• Emphasis on STEAM: We recognise the importance of Design & Technology in its broadest sense for the 21st century. Our dedicated workshops and labs, including a state-of-the-art DJI Robotics lab, provide a strong STEAM foundation for our students

Requirements:

• Fully qualified with a minimum of 2 years post-qualifying experience
• Experienced in teaching Design and Technology at the secondary level.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in 3D design software (AUTOCAD 3D, Architecture, Blender 3D).
• Be knowledgeable and capable of producing ISOMETRIC AND TECHNICAL drawings.
• Passionate educator dedicated to fostering a love of learning and innovation.
• Collaborative and willing to work with other teachers across disciplines.
• Enthusiastic about incorporating technology and hands-on learning into the curriculum.
• Able to inspire and guide students to explore their creative potential
• Be proficient in operating carpentry machines and tools.
• Be a team player.
• Be organized and efficient.
• Be willing to be involved in wider school activities.
• Be a good communicator.
• Be caring and supportive of students' needs and emotional development.
