Primary PE Teacher: must have swimming instruction experience
Phnom Penh, Cambodia

Start Date: August 2024
Region: Far East and South East Asia
School Curriculum: UK

The School

This is an exciting and rare opportunity to become part of the founding team of a new school in Cambodia. This will be the newest member of a family of schools, deeply connected to one of the most prestigious schools in the United Kingdom, with almost 500 years of nurturing numerous distinguished alumni, including the famous naturalist Charles Darwin.
The Early Years section opened in August 2022 and the purpose-built primary school campus is being constructed in a second location and will open in September 2024. The secondary school is set to open in 2026 on another purpose-built campus.
In addition to dedicated classrooms for each class, the Primary campus will also have an impressive range of specialist teaching facilities for a primary school, including a dance studio, drama studio, music studio, practice rooms, design and technology classroom, specialist art room, science laboratory, computer science suite, and swimming pool.
The schools core mission is to educate and empower pupils to flourish in life and contribute positively to the world around them. They believe education's true purpose is to cultivate inner virtues, life skills and character strengths that equip young people with the confidence and direction to pursue meaningful and successful lives.

Living and Working in Phnom Penh

The school is set in the rapidly expanding district of Chroy Changvar, Phnom Penh, boasting an exclusive riverside location along the majestic Mekong River. Phnom Penh is the vibrant, bustling capital of Cambodia. The city exudes a provincial charm and tranquilly, with French colonial mansions and tree-lined boulevards amidst monumental Angkorian architecture.
